While Cherry Pickin' Thrift Store may be new, our roots in Whitehouse run deep.
Back in 1991, a little shop called the Cherry Blossom Shop opened its doors in downtown Whitehouse. It was owned by Shirley Mastin, beloved mom to Mandi, aunt to Jona, and sister-in-law to Linda. Shirley loved this community, loved downtown Whitehouse, and loved helping people find special treasures.
Fast forward to this year, when we were dreaming up a name for our thrift store. We knew we wanted to honor Shirley and the legacy she left behind. We were opening a business in the same town she loved, doing something she would have absolutely enjoyed. That's how Cherry Pickin' Thrift Store got its name.
